What is Hidden Wonderland Festival?
Hidden Wonderland is a two-day festival in Worthy Grove, South Wonston on the outskirts of Winchester in Hampshire, UK. This brand new event is a multi-genre music festival fusing together a diverse line up of house, techno, drum and bass, hip hop, hard dance, trance, disco and more. Celebrating music, visual arts, food, diversity and culture across both days within several different, fully immersive settings. Hidden Wonderland Festival is held on a farmland site near South Wonston, in Winchester, Hampshire. SO21. (UK)


When is Hidden Wonderland Festival?
Hidden Wonderland Festival takes place on 10th July 2020 and 11th July 2020, although the site is open for campers to arrive between 17:00 and 21:00 on Thursday 9th July and again for campers to exit site until 18:00 on Sunday 12th July.


How big is the Hidden Wonderland site?

Hidden Wonderland is set in more than 30 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, split into several different areas which utilise natural woodland and surrounding fields to create a completely immersive venue and a truly unique experience. Expect secret areas, paths to explore, hidden surprises, a fun fair, food stalls, an amazing well-being area, meditation, reiki, yoga and much more. Whatever your festival needs - we have it covered and there is something for everyone.

Is Hidden Wonderland Festival family friendly?
Hidden Wonderland Outdoor Festival 2020 is a strictly 18 and over event. A valid form of photo ID may be required upon entry.


TRAVEL & TICKETS

What is the best way to get to Hidden Wonderland?
There are loads of ways to get to the festival! We recommend coming to us via our official transport network. Coaches will be running nationwide across the UK (please see details below). We do have a car parks, however we encourage car sharing where you can to decrease the carbon emissions. This also helps reduce heavy traffic flow to the network, which can slow down entry time for you and everyone else.

Do you have drop off and pick up points?
Yes, we do but we are asking everyone who is thinking of being dropped off and / or picked up after the festival by a friend or family member to rethink this as a travel option...  Being dropped off or picked up doubles the amount of journeys to and from site which increases carbon emissions and adds unnecessary traffic to the network, which slows down entry time for you and everyone else.  


Do I need to print my ticket?

This is not compulsory however it may speed up the process on entry. Having it on your phone is ok too – but make sure your phone is fully charged!

 

PARKING

Do I need a car parking pass?

Car parking is free to all ticket holders – on arrival please show ticket. Separate car parking passes will be sent out to each person that emails through. Depending on the type of parking pass you have the car parking stewards will direct you upon arrival.

What do I need to do with my car parking pass?
Once you have received your pass in the post, please display your parking sticker clearly in your windscreen before you start your journey to site. Please make sure it is clearly visable for our ticket team to scan with the QR code scanner.

Blue badge holders can park in the reserved blue badge parking areas, if you are planning to park here please contact our team to arrange parking close by and booking one of these spots.


I have a campervan. What ticket do I need?
In addition to a Standard Ticket – whether this is a day or weekend pass, you will need to purchase a Caravan Pitch add-on to be able to secure your caravan pitch. All members of your party will each need a valid Festival Entry ticket. 

 

CAMPING

Where can I camp?
All Weekend Tickets include access to our designated campsite areas. These will be clearly sign posted when you arrive.


Can I bring a Campervan?
Yes you can. These require a campervan pass which you can purchase on the website as an add-on to your ticket. Please remember that each person staying in the vehicle must have a valid Festival Entry ticket too. Campervan / Caravan pitches will be grass pitch only. There are no electricity or water provisions available. More information about pitch size and regulations ….


What welfare facilities can be found in the campsite?
We have 24 hour security around the festival campsite who are always to help and advise with any concerns, questions or issues our guests may have.  Stewards and our SIA trained Security staff  are also available at all times. We have PAYG showers for general punters, toilets available for all. Free showers for VIP. 24 hour campsite security and lighting. Campsite shop selling camping essentials, food and drink, basic range of alcoholic beverages. Also, hawkers bringing fresh Tea and Coffee and orange juice direct to your tent!


ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES

When can I arrive on site?

On Thursday afternoon you can set your tents up from 17:00 until 21:00.
On Friday the gates are open from 10am to 16:00.
On Saturday the gates are open from 10am to 16:00.
On Sunday the pickup point and car park will be open until 18:00 for everyone to leave site.

What time does the car park open?
The car parks will open at 10:00 each day and close at 4pm sharp, so make sure you have plenty of time to arrive before they close.

Is it possible to leave Hidden Wonderland Festival and come back in the next day?
Yes, of course. You can leave at any time but there will be no re-entry after 16:00. The following morning the gates will not reopen until 10:00, even if you already have your wristband.

What time can I stay on site until?
The site needs to be vacated by 18:00 on Sunday 12th July. Please make sure you are all packed up and on your merry way home by then. Don’t forget to CLEAN YOUR CAMPSITE! Bins will be provided.


What’s open when?
The full show, with all stages and attractions will be open at 11:00 on Friday onward including the Bazaar and fairground


When does the music start and end?
Being a multi genre music festival means we are providing you with 13 hours of non-stop music Friday and 15 hours on Saturday, please see the festival opening hours below:

Fri: 11:00 – 00:00
Sat: 11:00 – 02:00

 

WHAT CAN I BRING

How much alcohol can I bring in with me?
If camping you may bring up to 8 x 440ml cans of lager/cider/beer OR 8 x 250ml cans of premix spirit drinks OR a 1-litre of wine OR 1 litre of cider/lager/beer in plastic bottles or cans.

Due to license conditions no glass is allowed on site and will be confiscated at point of entry. Unopened plastic bottles are allowed, but if the seal is broken these will also be confiscated at the gates as we cannot allow unidentifiable substances onto the festival site. No re-entry with alcohol also applies.

No alcohol will be allowed through the gates into Hidden Wonderland however we will be serving alcohol at our bars so be sure to check out our Wonderland specials.

There is a strict ZERO tolerance drugs policy (including Nitrous Oxide), full searches will be carried out before entry is granted, no refunds can be issued and we reserve the right to refuse admission.

Searching is a condition of entry – We reserve the right to search any persons and vehicles upon entry to the Hidden Wonderland site or car park and confiscate any items or substances which may not be suitable for the event or be in any way considered dangerous. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission, ejected from the venue and may also be liable for prosecution. The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the ticket holder if they display inappropriate or aggressive behavior, or are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.


Can I bring a gas stove as part of my camping equipment?

Camping stoves are not permitted.

Can I have a BBQ or a Bonfire?
Open fires, BBQs and candle flares are strictly forbidden for safety reasons.

Can I bring my own sound system?
No. Small personal speakers are allowed but we would ask you to be considerate of your fellow campers with them. The campsites are patrolled, any inconsiderate behavior will be taken seriously and you run the risk of being ejected from the site, which we really don't want to happen!

Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, it is against our license terms to have animals on site, except guide or hearing dogs. If you arrive accompanied by your dog/cat/camel/goat/hamster etc... unfortunately you will be refused entry to the site, so please leave your furry friends at home.

 

MEDICAL AND WELFARE

How do I bring prescription medication into the festival with me?
To bring your medication with you just bring a copy of your prescription, put all the medication together in its original packaging in a clear plastic bag with your name (that matches you ID and the name on your ticket) and contact number clearly marked on it.  Please make sure you only bring enough for the two-day period and make sure you keep it safe or with you at all times. 


I need to store my medication in a fridge, is that possible?
Please let us know of this requirement at least 14 days prior to event commencement via email to: info@hiddenwonderland.com


Is it ok to bring CBD oil with me?
For our security staff at the gates to determine whether a bottle of oil is CBD, and therefore legal, we require for the bottle to be sealed (and never to have been previously opened). A commercially labelled product that clearly displays the CBD and THC content information. At the entry gates, if the product has been previously opened, fails to display the content information, or is suspected by the search staff of being any substance other than CBD, security staff may treat it as a contraband item, and confiscate it.
